“I am a 51 year-old Richmond native currently residing in Mechanicsville, VA in a townhouse I bought, built, and designed myself as I was rebuilding my life post-divorce and breast cancer. I wear many hats, my most important and special one is Mom to my son, Conner. ”
Darlene is one of the incredible women that has been featured in our 40 Over 40 campaign. She is a self-started who works hard for everything she loves. She follows her passions and has such a kind and generous nature. She navigates life with determination and grace, and challenges with a spirit that never wavers. It was such a pleasure getting to know her during time at the studio!
For her 40 Over 40 session Darlene worked with our Associate Photographer Carter to create 3 unique looks for her photoshoot; her favorite being the paint splatter styling. It was so amazing seeing this vision come to life in this creative and fun set-up! When asked about her experience at Kate Styles Photography, Darlene said this:
